Sustenance Aid

Human Aid Society’s one of the main area of work is towards the sustainable well being of the society especially poor and weaker section of the society, Every year it provides thousands of food kits comprising every essential commodities to such families who could not afford to carry their lives fully. 

2020 brought big challenge and affected all spheres of life. Due to lock down as announced by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India to safeguard the people of the nation no one was allowed to come out from the homes and it affected the daily workers class the most. Human Aid Society took initiative and decided to distribute food kits to such deserving families. All the members of HAS from volunteer to Executive took active part and used their personal vehicles to reach out the deserving ones in mitigating their requirements so that such families may not suffer during those tough days. After seeing the dedication and hard work of Human Aid Society team many local reputed citizens and groups handed over the food kits to Human Aid Society (HAS) with this hope that the organization will drop the same at door steps of needy ones which describes the trust of people on the organization’s volunteerism and accountability. HAS reached out to 719 families comprising 12 tehsils covering 103 villages of District Baramulla in phase first and provided them the food kits, masks, cash assistance provided free AMBULANVE SERVICE to 41 Covid19 patients to and fro and helped in saving their precious lives. HAS conducted 44days Covid awareness campaign in collaboration with District Administration Baramulla  by using its human resource and machinery. Despite having limited sources HAS spent RS 1376433/- excluding organization’s routine activities. In addition to this HAS reached more than 2000 people and provided them immunity booster medicines by the support of Directorate of ISM Deptt. under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
