Ever since the dawn of turmoil in the valley the human life was shattered and the properties were destroyed. Although the Govt of India in collaboration with the state Govt came up with some bright and prosperous measures to heal the wounds of victims and to put the valley on the right track of peace with dignity and honor. All that done was right but not enough because it was difficult for Govt to address the grievances of victims in every nook and corner hence a concept of social organizations and there role in the peace process was felt badly and, in this perspective, some patriotic thoughts were flourished by the local inhabitants which were polished by the people living in the other parts of the country. 

     

Human Aid Society is one of these thoughts which was flourished to heal the wounds of affected people and to bring the valley back to the peace era with the grace of God the organization could maintain its status by working in the various fields which definitely yielded better results. Human Aid Society is a concept which is aimed to involve every affected so as to ensure his betterment as per his choice within the limited resources.  Right from the inception (namely November 1999) of the Human Aid society , it has taken its whole initiative to shoulder the responsibility for uplifting the social & educational realms of the state of J&K, Sprouted out with the connotation of social work from the mind of a sincerity of the  people associated with the organization Human Aid Society comprises  of both intellects of the state as well as the common people , but it runs with the agenda  that anyone who gets the opportunity to speak out has a responsibility to speak up for the down trodden people of the state.

   

However, the organization took various initiatives to reach its objectives but various obstacles were restricting its motives. Lack of resources and awareness proved to be the big hurdles but the credit goes to some national organizations who came to its rescue and helped it to induce credibility of social work in a disturbed area. The organization which helped Human Aid Society during the course of time are Sadbhavana Charitable Trust New Delhi, Confederation of Indian Industries-CII, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation-RGF they provided the much-needed impetus for the development of the Human Aid Society, which in turn achieved a great success to bring serenity in the valley by providing moral as well as financial support to the deserving people. Human Aid Society is born to serve humanity. Its people work with the compassion to foster the notion of the development. Ever since its birth it has tried to channelize the potential of the youth of the state which is required to strengthen the domain of development and propel the people towards the parameters of development. Human Aid Society is trying to inculcate a sense of responsibility in the people of state so that they will work on self-exile in their prospective days of life. Human Aid Society embodies the ideas; pains of the suffering people who have found Human Aid Society as one of the alternatives to surge towards the prosperity, progress and peace.
